ODIONGAN, Romblon (PIA) — Romblon Provincial Health Office received P2 million worth of assorted IV Fluid from the Quezon City Government.
According to the Office of the Provincial Administrator, the IV fluids endorsed to Romblon Provincial Health Office were donated by Quezon City Government thru Rosario Maclang General Hospital and facilitated by Dr. Leah Faderon Fajutagana.
IV fluids are liquids injected into a person’s veins to prevent or treat dehydration and electrolyte imbalances.
Governor Jose Riano graced the turn-over ceremony together with Provincial Administrator Lizette Mortel and Doctors of different Rural Health Units in the province.
“Nagpapasalamat tayo sa assorted IV fluids na nagkakahalaga ng 2M donated by the Quezon City government led by Mayor Joy Belmonte through Rosario Maclang General Hospital facilitated ng ating kababayan Dr Leah Fajutagana,” according to the Governor.
“Ang mga IV fluids ay nakuha natin this week ay ipapamahagi ito sa walong hospitals at mga Rural health units sa buong probinsiya. Malaking tulong ito sa ating hospital at RHUs dahil isa ito sa mga fast moving item sa mga hospital dahil necessary at madalas magamit,” he added. (PJF/PIA MIMAROPA)
