QUEZON CITY (PIA) – The Quezon City Government invites devotees to embrace Luntiang Paglalakbay sa Semana Santa (Green Journey in Holy Week), a meaningful and eco-friendly way to observe Visita Iglesia.
For Filipino Catholics, the tradition of Visita Iglesia holds a special place during the observance of Holy Week. It’s not just a tour of churches, but a journey of prayer, devotion, and connection with one’s faith.
The initiative encourages people to bike and walk to seven churches within the city. It offers not just a sustainable mode of travel but also a more reflective spiritual experience.
