CABARROGUIS, Quirino (PIA) – – The regional office of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) recently recognized some local government units (LGUs) in the province in the recently conducted 2023 Excellence Award on Governance and Leadership (EAGLE) Awards at Casa Jardin, Santiago City, Isabela.

Among the LGUs that received awards were: LGU Saguday- 2023 National Anti-Drug Abuse Council Award; Barangay Salvacion, Saguday- Most Outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa; Barangay Calaocan, Cabarroguis- Most Outstanding Barangay, municipal category; and Barangay Captain Fernando M. Dango – Barangay Calaocan, Cabarroguis.
Some barangay officials were also recognized in various categories. They are Charry D. Punno – Calaocan, Cabarroguis, Most Outstanding Secretary municipal category_-Finalist; Napoleon L. Tomas-Calaocan, Most Outstanding Treasurer, municipal category-Finalist; Finalist; Barangay Andres Bonifacio, Diffun, Finalist; Emmanuel L. Seculles – Andres Bonifacio, Diffun, Most Outstanding barnagy tanod (individual) municipal category-Finalist and Barangay Andres Bonifacio, Diffun- Most Outstanding Barangay Tanod (team), municipal category.
