Red Cross Youth gears up for ‘Camp SULO 2025’

DIPOLOG CITY (PIA) — The Red Cross Youth-Zamboanga del Norte Chapter will launch “Camp SULO 2025” from May 23 to 26, at a local resort in Barangay Banbanan, Dapitan City, to empower youth volunteers through leadership development and humanitarian training.

Camp SULO 2025 offers interactive workshops, disaster response simulations, team-building activities, and cultural sessions that will equip participants with essential skills for humanitarian service.

The camp aims to strengthen leadership capabilities, promote teamwork, and deepen the youth’s commitment to the fundamental principles of the Red Cross Movement.

“We encourage you to take this opportunity to grow, to challenge yourself, and to be part of a movement that inspires positive change,” said Marknin Jirald A. Arguelles, president of Red Cross Youth Zamboanga del Norte and Camp SULO director.

“For the youth who join this event, there will be no regrets — not only will they have a great time, but they will also gain valuable lessons and build lasting friendships,” said Beverly Cuyos, a member of Red Cross Youth Zamboanga del Norte.

With the sea as their backdrop, young volunteers will embark on a transformative journey to become the compassionate and empowered humanitarian leaders of tomorrow. (EDT/PJF/CJH-OJT/PIA9-Zamboanga del Norte)
