TAGUM CITY, Davao del Norte- – The Commission on Election (COMELEC) urges electorates of 18 years old by May 12 and above, to take advantage of the “Register Anywhere” Program of COMELEC offered starting this year and will end on Aug 31.
As a guest of the Sayron Ta! Pakigsayod Radio Program of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Davao del Norte aired over Radio 911, COMELEC Davao del Norte Information Officer-designate, Atty. Norberto Sinsona Jr. explained that COMELEC rolls out the Register Anywhere in capital cities nationwide for the May 12 National and Local Elections.
Through this COMELEC Program, the registrant can apply at Tagum COMELEC Office for instance, to apply for transfer of voting records to anywhere in the Philippines. They can also transact for reactivation, and correction of their names.
“Maski asa plano nimo mag register pwede mu-adto ka sa COMELEC Tagum (for instance). Pwde ka mag-apply any of the usual transactions with COMELEC,” he said.

Atty. Sinsona, however, called on electorates to avail it fast as its close is fast-approaching on Aug 31, way ahead of the usual COMELEC registration activity that will end on September 30.
The central office of COMELEC will be the one approving the voters transactions done through the Register Anywhere program, Atty. Sinsona said. (JMDA/PIA XI)
