SAN JOSE, Antique (PIA) — The Philippine Statistics Authority – Antique recently launched “Rehistro Bulilit” in Maybato North, San Jose, Antique.
Provincial Statistics Officer Randy M. Tacogdoy said during the program that Rehistro Bulilit is intended to increase the registration turnout of children aged one to four years old.
He then emphasized the importance of registering in the National ID system, reiterating that all three forms of the National ID such as paper-printed or the ePhilID, the PVC card, and the digital ID are valid.
During the launching program, a total of 75 individuals were registered in the National ID system- 28 were children 1 to 4 years old, 25 were aged 5 to 14 years old, and 22 were aged 15-59 years old.
Likewise, 14 ePhilIDs were issued during the activity.
PSA also noted that this campaign encouraged parents/guardians in their absence to register their children to the National ID System and ensure that they are aware and able to comply with the necessary supporting document/s to present during registration.
To add color to the event, PhilSys Antique team spearheaded lively activities full of decorations and balloons, creating an atmosphere conducive for children. (AGP/PSA/PIA Antique)
