ROMBLON, Romblon (PIA) — Governor Jose Riano is advocating for resort owners, hotels, and other stakeholders in the province’s tourism sector to use tourLISTA, a collaborative initiative between the Department of Tourism (DOT) Mimaropa and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Mimaropa.
Riano made this call during the recent 3rd Provincial Tourism Council meeting held in Romblon.
He emphasized the significance of data collection, especially concerning tourist arrivals in Romblon, which is rapidly emerging as atourist destination in the Philippines.
By e ncouraging local tourism establishments to use tourLISTA, the local chief executive aims to enhance Romblon’s tourism industry by providing stakeholders with the necessary insights to make informed decisions.
