Romblon LGUs setup one-stop shops to ease business registration

ODIONGAN, Romblon (PIA) — Local government units (LGUs) in the province of Romblon have started setting ups their own Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) in their respective area to streamline the process of business registrations of business owners.

The scheme is in accordance to the Republic Act (RA) 11032.


Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) have been set up in the municipalities in the province since January 3 and will continue until the end of the month.

The said law mandates LGUs and government agencies to provide the public with quality services by reducing expenses and inconveniences during business transactions with the government.

In San Fernando, the Municipal Public Information Office said that the Municipal Treasurer’s Office, Business Permits and Licensing Office, Municipal Engineering Office, Municipal Planning and Development Office, Municipal Assessor’s Office, Rural Health Unit, Municipal Agriculture Office, Bureau of Fire Protection and Department of Trade and Industry are taking part in the BOSS.  (PJF/PIA MIMAROPA)
