CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) – The local government of Roxas recently held the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of its proposed Water District Bulk Water Supply Project costing P173 million in Brgy. Odiong.
Mayor Leo Cusi, Sr., together with the Sangguniang Bayan Members and staff from the M. E. Sicat Construction led the ceremonial groundbreaking of the project.
M.E. Sicat Construction headed by its General Manager Mike Sicat serves as the contractor where such a project covers the entire 20 barangays of said town.
According to Cusi, the duration of the project would be expected to finish from six months up to one-year intensive work.
The local chief executive said the communities need clean and potable water for the residents to stay physically healthy and prevent diseases caused by a lack of adequate water, sanitation, and hygiene. (LTC/PIA-OrMin)
