LAGAWE, Ifugao (PIA) – – Three batches of Philippine National Police Public Safety Basic Recruit Course Class 2017-01 deployed at the Ifugao Police Provincial Office (IPPO) celebrated their sixth-year anniversary in the service by sharing their blessings to selected beneficiaries.
Members of the RSBRC CL 2017 Sagip-Lahi, Mapitagan and Dalisay -Alab pooled their personal resources to provide school supplies and free services to 60 pupils of Nungulunan Elementary School (NES) in Hungduan town.
They gave the pupils school supplies like notebooks, pad papers, pencils, ballpens, crayons, scissors, glue, rulers, erasers, sharpeners, hygiene kits and umbrellas.
Sports equipment that include badminton rackets and net, shuttlecocks, volleyball net, chess boards, scrabble boards, boxes of A4 bond paper, and one set of printer ink were also turned-over to the school head.
The group also conducted free circumcision and haircut and information education on anti-terrorism (EO 70), illegal drugs, anti-bullying and anti-rape and distributed flyers.
Personnel of Hungduan Police Station also lectured on Implan Pani-o while Roselyn Pulig from the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office shared about the “Good Touch and Bad Touch”.
The activity which was in line with Malasakit under the MKK=K program of the PNP, was in partnership with Hungduan MPS, MSWDO, barangay officials, parents and teachers of NES. (JDP/MBL- CAR, Ifugao)
