CITY OF CALAPAN, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) — In a commendable effort to enhance the lives of its residents, the City Government of Calapan has once again lead the initiative known as the “Serbisyong Tama para sa Barangay Program”, in Brgy. Canubing I on November 7, 2023.

Launched during the term of Calapan Mayor Marilou F. Morillo, this innovative program offers an array of services that address the pressing needs of the community, thereby improving the quality of life for its residents.

Some of the services offered are health services, specifically for the Senior Citizens of the barangay, programs such as PhilSys registration by the Philippine Statistics Authority; among others.

Other agencies that showed support towards the Serbisyong Tama para sa Barangay Program are the Land Transportation Office (LTO), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG); Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP); PhilHealth, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA); Social Security System (SSS), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA); and PAG-IBIG Fund.

The program’s impact has been profound, garnering praise from residents and local leaders alike. It has not only made services accessible but also fostered a sense of community and togetherness in Calapan City.
