The National Food Authority (NFA) has started unloading 35,000 bags of well-milled rice in Cebu from Mindoro. This is part of the pilot test for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s ₱20-per-kilo rice program in the Visayas.
According to NFA Administrator Larry Lacson, the shipment is part of the 600,000 bags for the province’s “Benteng Bigas, Meron Na!” (BBM Na!) program.
