IPIL, Zamboanga Sibugay (PIA) – In a significant step towards empowering the youth in Zamboanga Sibugay, Governor Ann K. Hofer expressed her strong support for the newly inaugurated Zamboanga Sibugay Polytechnic Institute (ZSPI)-Technical Vocational Education Training (TVET) Innovation Center, underscoring the critical role of education and innovation in shaping the future of the province.

Governor Hofer, who was present at the ceremony, described the successful completion of the center as a demonstration of what can be achieved when education, innovation, and public service come together.
This is more than just a building. It is about giving our young people the tools and opportunities to build a brighter future for themselves and for our province,” she remarked.
Hofer emphasized that the center would help transform ZSPI into a center of excellence for technical education, preparing the youth to meet the growing demands of industries.
“It’s a proud moment for me, and an important milestone for all of us. I am excited about the vast opportunities this innovation center will offer,” she added.
The governor expressed her commitment to supporting ZSPI’s mission to equip students with the skills they need to succeed in an ever-changing economy.
“As your governor, I will be fully committed to supporting ZSPI in this mission. Together, we will ensure that the programs offered here are aligned with the needs of both the local and national workforce,” Hofer said.
She further stressed that the development of the Innovation Center is not only about building a structure but about shaping lives and creating careers for the youth.
“This is about creating hope, empowering individuals, and contributing to the growth of our economy,” she concluded.
Governor Hofer’s support underscores the provincial government’s dedication to advancing technical education, with the goal of addressing the region’s workforce needs and providing young people with the opportunity to succeed in their chosen careers. (EDT/JPA/PIA9-Zamboanga Sibugay)
