Soldiers to provide security during Nazarene Feast

QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — To ensure a solemn and peaceful feast of the Jesus of Nazarene on Jan. 9, the Joint Task Force National Capital Region (JTF NCR) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) will provide support during the annual celebration.

According to JTF NCR, forces from various major services including one Marine Battalion reserve force will be deployed to support the police force and other government agencies.

The JTF NCR ensures full-force mobilization and stringent measures before, during, and after the event to ensure the well-being of all attendees against any potential threats.

Meanwhile, JTF NCR encouraged devotees and the public to adhere to safety advisories and cooperate with authorities throughout the celebration to embody the spirit of obedience and help maintain a respectful and orderly environment.
