SPAMAST advances research, development, innovation program

DAVAO CITY (PIA) — The Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) has reaffirmed its dedication to advancing its research, development, innovation, and extension services.

The state-run college based in Malita, Davao Occidental, initiated the formalization of its commitment in a recent signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the college president, Dr. Lynette A. Bontia, and the designated project leaders and members of SPAMAST.  

On its social media post, SPAMAST explained that the signing of the MOA was aimed at strengthening its research and extension capabilities by supporting projects aligned with its mandate to implement innovative solutions, enhance community engagement, and adhere to the institution’s high standards of ethics and compliance.

The agreement has outlined the provision of funding, regular monitoring, and the establishment of clear deliverables, ensuring the alignment of research activities with institutional goals.

In her message, Bontia underscored the importance of fostering collaboration among stakeholders to achieve sustainable outcomes.
