MALITA, Davao Occidental (PIA) – A student team from the Southern Philippines Agri-business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) of Malita has showcased their skills and expertise in the recently-held Student Research and Development Conference on Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources.
The conference held at the University of Southeastern Philippines Tagum-Mabini Campus in Tagum City, gathered together promising young researchers and creatives from various institutions to present innovative ideas and solutions addressing critical issues in agriculture, aquatic, and natural resources.
SPAMAST representatives Jalie Rose Danwata and Ruby Mae Yting brought pride to the state college and the province as they won 2nd place in the policy pitching category and 3rd place in the poster category, respectively.
According to SPAMAST post on social media, “both students’ outstanding performances demonstrated SPAMAST’s commitment to academic excellence and research innovation.”
Other SPAMAST representatives were also given recognition for their participation and commendable efforts in their respective categories.
Competing in the aquatic category was Joahra May Rosario Cañete, while the on-the-spot poster-making competition was represented by Andrea Garte.
SPAMAST extended gratitude to the participants “for representing the institution with distinction.”
