During the RACE campaign, SSS VW2 Division Vice President lawyer Bernardo Dofitas Jr. acknowledged the importance of the media in providing relevant truth to the SSS members in the province.

“Aside from serving notice of violations to delinquent employers, we also want to raise awareness to other SSS members of the mandate of the SSS in giving them protection and social security,” Dofitas added.

Dofitas reminded the employers and some employees that the SSS is open to installment plans that involve management structuring programs that include condonation of contribution penalties despite their visits and notices of violations.

Moreover, SSS Roxas City Branch Head Rene Moises Gonzales said that since January this year, they already conducted 11 RACE operations and recorded more than P4.6 million delinquencies in the province.

Out of 11 operations, the government-owned and controlled corporation has issued notice of violations to 54 delinquent employers in the province protecting 350 employees whose social security is at risk. (AGP/PLF/PIA Capiz)
