DAVAO CITY (PIA)– The SSS Davao – San Pedro branch hosted a coordination meeting and orientation on various Social Security System programs, it was attended by officials from the 28 barangays under the jurisdiction of the branch.
The activity held on Oct. 10 at World Palace Business Center was headed by Maren Eeman W. Estrella, SSS Davao – San Pedro Branch Head. It was purposely conducted to inform and at the same time encourage the barangay officials about SSS programs that they can take to ensure regular and on time payments of their monthly SSS Contribution as Self-Employed members.
This also involves the presentation of the E-Center sa Barangay, a program that aims to provide SSS E-Services in Barangay level.
In her speech Maren Eeman W. Estrella, SSS Davao – San Pedro Branch Head said the orientation aim to raise awareness about the importance of contributing to the SSS and the Benefits that come with it.
“By fostering a sense of responsibility and understanding, we can empower our Barangay Officials to help SSS achieve its mission of expanding membership base,” Estrella added.
SSS is looking forward for information exchange and cooperation betwen SSS and the Barangays. (eti with report from SSS Davao)
