With a space covering around 1,237 square meters, the new SSS Iloilo Central branch office is expected to give comfort to stakeholders, including pensioners, who want to transact with the agency.

“Compared to our previous location, the area now is really comfortable and accessible as it is bigger. We are located on the ground floor, making it easier for our pensioners to transact, and we have wider parking space,” SSS Visayas West 2 Division senior communications analyst Amiel Genova said in an interview.

Meanwhile, Social Security Commissioner Eva B. Arcos urged Ilonggos to contribute to the SSS as it is also for their welfare, noting that the agency has different services to offer.

“SSS has different services that it can offer. So, I encourage the public to contribute as it is also for our welfare and of course, our family, our dependents,” Arcos said.

The newly inaugurated Iloilo Central branch office covers members and employers from the towns of Ajuy, Anilao, Barotac Nuevo, Barotac Viejo, Cabatuan, Calinog, Concepcion, Dingle, Janiuay, Lambunao, Pavia, Santa Barbara, and Sara in Iloilo province; and the districts of City Proper, Jaro and Lapaz in Iloilo City.
