QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — The City Government of Marikina recently inaugurated its diagnostic and medical arts building, with the Department of Health – Metro Manila Center for Health Development (DOH-MMCHD).
The state-of-the-art facility adjacent to the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center (ARMMC), is equipped with modern diagnostic tools, outpatient consultation rooms, and specialized medical services.
Marikina City Mayor Marcelino “Marcy” Teodoro emphasized the importance of partnerships in realizing the project. Teodoro is confident that the facility with the continuing help from the DOH-MMCHD and other stakeholders will be able to provide top-notch medical services in a fast, affordable, and reliable manner.

Meanwhile DOH-MMCHD OIC Asst. Regional Director Karen B. Fernandez extended her thanks and lauded the efforts of the Marikina local government in making the project a reality.
Fernandez also assured the Marikeños of the health department’s support of the city’s health initiatives, encouraging local leaders to continue their collaborative efforts for the benefit of the community towards achieving the objectives of Universal Health Care (UHC).

The city government said that the new medical facility is intended to meet the city’s expanding healthcare needs, signifying the dedication to offering high-quality, easily accessible healthcare. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
