The inauguration of the TESDA-Midea HVAC/R Training Hub follows the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed on January 22, 2024.
According to TESDA, the MOA outlines a comprehensive plan to refurbish, renovate, and upgrade the facilities and equipment at TESDA-NavotaAs Training Institute. This enhancement will significantly benefit the institute’s programs, including RAC Servicing (DomRAC) NC II, Commercial Air-conditioning Installation and Servicing NC II, and Small Appliance Repair with Internet of Things (IoT) Integration.
This initiative is strategically designed to bridge skills gaps and tackle unemployment by providing cutting-edge, competency-based training programs that meet both local and global industry demands. By equipping students with advanced skills and knowledge, the TESDA-Midea HVAC/R Training Hub aims to foster socio-economic development and contribute to the advancement of the community.
Likewise, the partnership aspires to produce competent scholar graduates and a consistent pool of future technician workforce for our country. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
