TESDA’s online program empowers Filipinos with flexible tech-voc training

As part of the government’s ongoing digitization efforts, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) is enhancing its platforms to provide Filipinos with accessible Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). This initiative aims to improve employability, develop essential life skills, and empower individuals with technical expertise.

One of TESDA’s key initiatives is the TESDA Online Program (TOP), a platform offering free Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) to equip Filipino workers with valuable skills. TOP enables learners to study anytime, anywhere, using information and communication technology for a flexible and accessible learning experience.

Additionally, TESDA Technology Institutions (TTIs) offer a Multi-Regional TESDA Online Program (MRTOP) that integrates TOP into blended learning programs.

A total of 167 courses are available on the TOP website, accessible at e-tesda.gov.ph, under these major categories:

How to enroll in TESDA’s online program?

The program features an eight-step enrollment process, designed to ensure a seamless experience for learners. These steps include:

  1. Visiting the TOP website (e-tesda.gov.ph).
  2. Creating an account.
  3. Enrolling in your chosen course.
  4. Completing the pre-test.
  5. Completing all course requirements, including lessons, unit tests, and closing remarks.
  6. Taking the post-test.
  7. Completing the program satisfaction survey.
  8. Receiving your certificate of completion.

TESDA La Union Acting Provincial Director Cresencia Boac encourages the public to explore this platform.

“With the TESDA Online Program, learners can conveniently acquire tech-voc skills at their own pace using their personal devices and an internet connection,” she said.

As of December 2023, has recorded 776,630 registered users in the TOP, 1,501,860 course enrollments, and 999,432 course completers nationwide.

The TOP continues to offer an accessible and convenient pathway for Filipinos to gain in-demand technical skills and boost their employability.
