MANILA, (PIA) — The City of Valenzuela will observe a special (non-working) day on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, in celebration of its 401st Founding Anniversary.
This proclamation was made official through Proclamation No. 711, signed by Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin, acting on behalf of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.
The declaration aims to provide the residents of Valenzuela with the opportunity to fully engage in the festivities and enjoy the celebration of their city’s rich history and culture.
In the proclamation, Bersamin noted, “It is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Valenzuela be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration.”
The announcement was made on October 22, 2024, and reinforces the government’s commitment to recognizing significant local events that foster community spirit and pride.
