Vienovo PH opens first feed mill plant in Mindanao, boosting Bukidnon’s food security

MANOLO FORTICH, Bukidnon (PIA)–Vienovo Philippines has opened its fourth feed mill plant in the Philippines and the first in Mindanao, specifically in Bukidnon. This facility will significantly enhance agricultural development and drive economic growth for the province and the country.

Mathieu Guillaume, President and CEO of Vienovo Philippines, emphasized the company’s dedication to enhancing the livestock sector and ensuring national food security.

He explained the importance of innovation in feed manufacturing and the company’s mission to contribute to the country’s food supply chain.

“This is the company’s contribution to help the Philippines achieve food security,” Guillaume said.

Mayor Rogelio Quiño of Manolo Fortich town expressed his excitement, recognizing the feed mill’s potential to uplift the local economy.

He said the facility would create job opportunities, support local farmers, and stimulate the livestock industry in the region.

Quino hailed the investment as a significant step towards realizing Bukidnon’s agricultural potential.

“We are thrilled to welcome Vienovo Philippines in Bukidnon. Their state-of-the-art feed mill reflects our province’s agricultural potential and economic growth,” he said.

Meanwhile, Nico Bolzico, a major shareholder and board member of Vienovo Philippines, underscored the strategic importance of Bukidnon as an agricultural hub. The location allows efficient access to raw materials and distribution in nearby provinces, boosting both local farming and the entire agriculture sector.

Vienovo Philippines has integrated sustainability into the plant’s operations, adopting eco-friendly technologies and waste management systems. This initiative demonstrates the company’s commitment to balancing industrial growth with environmental responsibility.
