CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) — Vice President and Department of Education Secretary (DepEd) Sara Zimmerman Duterte graced the 3rd Mindoro State University (MinSU) Commencement Exercises at Balai Mindoro, Calapan City on July 19, 2023.

During her speech, VP Duterte instilled a message of hope and resilience to the 1,172 graduating students of MinSU.

Meanwhile, Prince Jerome S. Cuenca, a BS Tourism Management graduate, and one of the Magna Cum Laude for the class of 2023, could not contain his gaze and excitement upon the sheer realization that a person of her stature, VP Sara Duterte, would give an inspirational message to what will be one of his memorable milestones in life.

According to Cuenca, the words from VP Duterte will serve as an inspiration that whenever life knocks him down, there will always be hope at the end of the tunnel. (JJGS/PIA MIMAROPA)
