War is no place for a child

War is no place for a child. Yet every year, thousands of children are recruited and forced into conflict, their innocence stolen, and their futures shattered. On Red Hand Day, we stand united in saying: this must stop.
Β
The red handprint symbolizes our collective promise to protect children from the horrors of war and to support their recovery and reintegration into society. We have a responsibility to speak up, to demand change, and to create a world where every child is free to dream, learn, and grow without fear.
Β
Let’s do more than raise awareness; let’s take action. Share this message, educate others, and join the global movement to put an end to the use of child soldiers. Together, we can rewrite their stories and bring hope to their lives.
