Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose “Bong” Lacson confirms the rollout of the P20 per kilogram rice program in the Visayas.
Lacson says Department of Agriculture (DA) officials are set to meet tomorrow, April 28, to iron out the program’s mechanism for selling rice per kilo at P20 to indigent Filipinos.
The official adds that the program intends to provide rice freshly milled or less than three months old.
