Davao City (4 July) -- Aksyon Mindanaw, a multi-sectoral and multi-peoples alliance based in Davao City will be holding the launch of a series of forums to discuss issues facing Mindanaoans and encourage local and national candidates to take heed of these discussions.
A forum and general assembly will be held this July 5, Sunday at E-Vibe Super Club in Torres Street, Davao City which will be graced by speakers led by Senator Francis Pangilinan, Fr. Davao City (4 July) -- These may be the worst of times, but being Filipinos it is a valuable trait in us to still be cheerful even in these trying times. In Davao City, three people have proven that even how hard circumstances may become, there is still hope. There will always be hope. 4Ps is hope.
A Mother's Will Power to Survive
As a single parent, Marilyn Makiputin, 49 years old of Barangay 21-C, Davao City was able to raise all nine children. Her husband died in 2002. Since then, she took care of her kids by selling durian candies and other durian products at Ecoland Overland Terminal. (+) |
