Pasalubong center exclusively sells products from Agusan Norte

BUTUAN CITY (PIA) -- Agusan del Norte Gov. Ma. Angelica Rosedell M. Amante encourages provincial offices and the Agusanons to patronize and support the products of the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs)  in the province.

This call for support aims to promote the MSMEs that make up and contribute to the local business and economy of the province.

“If you have events here in our province (Agusan del Norte), prioritize and consider buying our MSME products for your snacks, giveaways, pasalubong, and tokens, so that our MSME will also grow, their products will be promoted, and they will be known in other places,” said Amante.

“Buying and patronizing our own products will not only help our MSMEs, but will boost our economy and make it sustainable,” the governor added.

“We have a plan to establish a grand one-stop center where all products of the province will be showcased to the public, especially to our tourists, because we have a lot to show and promote in the province,” Amante shared.

With the support of the provincial government of Agusan del Norte, the Innovative Producers Association of Agusan del Norte, Inc. (IPAADNI) opened a pasalubong center strategically located in Butuan City that sells exclusive local products of the province. With the support of the provincial government, the Innovative Producers Association of Agusan del Norte, Inc. (IPAADNI), led by Marilou D. Camong, recently opened its Pasalubong Center in Butuan City exhibiting the different products from the 11 local government units of the province.

“We are thankful to Gov. Amante and to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) for giving attention to the important role of MSMEs in the community. This will help MSMEs grow and sustain the production of local products,” Camong added.

“Consumers and tourists looking for pasalubong and government offices needing tokens are invited to drop by at the IPAADNI Pasalubong Center in front of SM City Butuan, which is open daily from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The center also serves as a pick-up location for ordered products from members and clients,” said Camong.

IPAADNI was organized by the DTI in Agusan del Norte on Oct.15, 2021. The group was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Feb. 2, 2022,  with 38 active members. (NCLM/PIA-Agusan del Norte)
