PBBM renews vow to support the police force

MANILA -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. renewed his vow to support the Philippine National Police (PNP) as he attended the graduation ceremony of the first batch of the Bangsamoro Police Basic Recruit Course (BPBRC) at Camp BGen. Salipada K. Pendatun, in Parang, Maguindanao del Norte on Monday.

The chief executive made the remarks as part of the four pointers he shared during the graduation ceremony of Batch 2023-01 Class Alpha-Bravo “Bakas-Lipi.”

Firstly, President Marcos reminded Bakas-Lipi class members that they were accepted to the BPBRC due to their character and their unwavering desire to support the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Secondly, the President emphasized the courage and determination of the Bakas-Lipi have motivated them to push their limits and face the daily challenges during the course.

Before concluding his speech, President Marcos said the development of Bangsamoro will translate to the prosperity of the entire Philippines, making it easier to shift to the “Bagong Pilipinas” envisioned by the administration.

President Marcos served as the guest of honor and keynote speaker during the BPBRC Graduation Ceremony at the Camp BGen. Salipada K. Pendatun in Parang, Maguindanao del Norte where he also presented the certificates of graduation and awards to select graduates.

Their graduation marks a milestone in the Bangsamoro peace process as it is the first batch of the PNP Patrolmen and Patrolwomen coming from the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).

The BPBRC Batch 2023-01 Class Alpha-Bravo “Bakas-Lipi” stands for BAngsamorong Kapulisan Sandigan ng Lipunang Pilipino.” (PND)
