Everything you need to know about the ePhilID

The ePhilID, or electronic version of the Philippine national Identification system (PhilID),  is a proactive strategy of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) that will allow Filipinos to immediately enjoy the benefits of being registered with the system.

Every registered person will be given an actual PhilID card, even if they have already claimed or received their electronic registration card, or ePhilID.

The virtual ePhilID has the same function and validity as the physical I.D. card.

If you want to check if you already have a PhilSys Number (PSN), you may visit this link

https://appt.philsys.gov.ph

What is the ePhilID? What is its difference from the PhilID card?

  • The ePhilID has the same validity and functionality as the physical PhilID card.
  • The ePhilID is designed to be used in all transactions. This allows registered persons to immediately enjoy the benefits of PhilSys, such as better access to more financial and social protection services.
  • Just like the PhilID card, claiming the ePhilID is free of charge.

Who can avail of the ePhilID?

  • The ePhilID can be availed of by a registered person with PhilSys Numbers (PSN) who has have not received their physical PhilID cards yet.

  • Please note that you do not need to register again, as you already have a PhilSys Number, or PSN.

Can you download your ePhilID?

  • No. Currently, the available version of the digital ID is the ePhilID issued at PhilSys Registration Centers.
Please stay tuned to our Facebook page and website for announcements on the mobile/portable ePhilID, which can be stored on a mobile device.

What are the steps to getting my ePhilID?
