FILIPINOS from all walks of life will once again unite on Sunday, January 28 at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila for the momentous kick-off of the "Bagong Pilipinas" movement.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is scheduled to grace the historic gathering, a social mobilization event that would allow individual voices to resonate with the collective aspiration for a more stable, comfortable and secure future.

The rally aims to ignite hope and inspire participation in building a better Philippines through collective action.

In a Facebook post, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) is inviting the Filipino people to attend the Bagong Pilipinas kick-off rally at 6 p.m., while exciting performances from various artists will be staged beginning at 3 p.m.

Halina at maging parte ng pagbabago para sa ating sarili, komunidad, at bayan (Come and be part of the change for ourselves, the community, and the people),” the PCO said.

President Marcos is set to take the stage to deliver his message to the nation, his words would echo a familiar, but oftentimes overlooked, call to action: that real change starts with self, with family, with the community, and then eventually--the country. This isn't a promise from the chief executive; it is a challenge, an invitation to every Filipino to become builders of personal, communal and national progress through individual commitment and action.

The "Bagong Pilipinas" in itself isn't merely a brand; it's a seed planted in the fertile soil of Filipino nationalism and resilience. This rally will be a fertile field where the "Bagong Pilipino" (Reformed Filipinos) would come to nurture that seed with their active participation.

It ties back to the President's New Year message on the importance of fulfilling personal resolutions to contribute to national development. He emphasized the importance of individual commitment, reminding the nation that every fulfilled promise, every act of kindness, every drop of sweat in pursuit of a dream, becomes a vital drop watering the field of national progress.

Moreover, the rally will be streamed online to engage wider audiences beyond Manila, spilling its unifying message onto the other regions, into the hearts and minds of Filipinos nationwide and worldwide!

"Bagong Pilipinas" is more than a campaign; it's a revolution of shared purpose. It's a reminder that a nation isn't built by singular heroes, but by the chorus of voices, the united hands, the shared dreams of its people.

This rally will be a testament to that unity, a collective planting of seeds that promises a bountiful harvest of progress in the years to come. (PIA-NCR)
