How DTI, Google partnership can help MSMEs boost their digital career

In today’s digital age, entrepreneurs need to connect with their target audience at the right place and at the right time.

Digital marketing is now very much the norm for successful businesses – an adequate digital marketing strategy will help companies grow.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), in partnership with Google, is launching a Career Certification Program that aims to provide digital training and re-skilling initiatives to create new pathways for Filipinos to become highly skilled in the era of digitalization.

The free program will be offering six (6) self-paced learning courses through Coursera:

- Data Analytics

- User Experience (UX) Design

- Project Management

- IT Support/ IT Automation

- Digital Marketing & E-commerce, and

- Cybersecurity


Who could join?

- Micro, small and medium enterprise (MSMEs) owners pursuing digitalization of their business and/or their employees or staff.

- Women, Out-of-school youth, persons with disability, senior citizens, those unemployed or underemployed


What are the qualifications?

- Must be 18 years old or above

- Must be a Filipino resident

- Committed to complete the course within the specified timeframe

- Ideally has a device and internet connectivity

Due to limited slots, registrants will still undergo an assessment process to ensure they qualify for the basic requisites of the training.
