QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- Business owners in Taguig City can now renew their business permits and pay their taxes in just three (3) easy steps.

On January 2, 2024, the City of Taguig launched its Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) 2024, offering faster, easier, and more accessible processes for business permit renewals and tax payments.

There are now only three simple steps in the newly improved application and renewal process.

STEP 1: Pay local business tax and fees

Prepare the following documents

• Accomplished Application Form (3 copies, long 8.5” x 14”)

• Photocopy of latest Business Permit

• Photocopy of latest Business Tax Billing Statement and Official Receipt

• Photocopy of previous year VAT Returns (2550M/2550Q) or Percentage Tax Returns (2551M/2551Q)

• Previous year’s Annual Income Tax Return and Audited Financial Statement

• Sworn Statement of receipts or sales/breakdown of gross sales per branch duly certified by the authorized official of the establishment (for companies with branches)

• Latest permit from other cities reflecting declared sales (from companies with branches outside Taguig)

• Articles of Incorporation or DTI Registration

• Lease Contract

• Recent CTC (Cedula)

STEP 2: Present application form, supporting documents

Prepare the following

• Official receipt and Insurance Policy of Comprehensive General Liability 

• Fire Safety Inspection Certificate

• Latest RPT Payment Receipt

• Official Receipt of Local Business Taxes and Fees

• Documents submitted for Step 1

STEP 3: Receive your business permit

Here are the modes of payment

• Cash

• Credit/Debit Card

• GCash and Maya

• Manager/Cashier’s Check (Payable to the order of the City Treasurer of Taguig)

• Documents submitted for Step 1

Business permit renewals and tax payments for 2024 will be available from January 2 to January 20, 2024, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., including weekends. Here are the two convenient locations where entrepreneurs can renew their permits:

1. SM Aura Satellite Office: 9th floor, Taguig City Hall Satellite, SM Aura Tower, 26th cor. McKinley Parkway, Bonifacio Global City, Fort Bonifacio, City of Taguig.

2. Convention Center: New City Hall Building, Cayetano Blvd., Brgy. Ususan, City of Taguig. (PIA-NCR)
