“May this training equip and prepare the tourism stakeholders of homestays in providing excellent services within the comfort of their homes at the same time to have more training to be conducted in the Province of Batanes for the tourism sector to enhance and provide a quality service for its recovery and a better tourism industry,” said Provincial Administrator Justinne Jerico H. Socito.

The training would also encourage homestay owners to apply for regular accreditation to elevate and standardize the Philippine Homestay Program, and ensure the safety, sanitation, and availability of rooms and other basic amenities.
