QUEZON CITY (PIA) -- The latest results of the Career Service Examination - Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) unveiled an impressive display of excellence from the National Capital Region (NCR), with two topnotchers clinching the highest scores in their respective levels.

Patricia D. Victa and Leonard Brian E. Nicolas emerged as the topnotchers from the NCR, showcasing exceptional performances in the Professional and Sub-Professional levels, respectively. Victa secured an outstanding rating of 93.60, while Nicolas achieved an impressive 90.83.

The National Capital Region not only claimed the top spots but also showcased its prominence across the board, with John Paulo M. Silvestre and Thea A. Malificiar also securing top rankings in the Professional level, contributing to the region's stellar performance.

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) reported that NCR led the pack in terms of passing rates, with 26.03% of examinees from the region successfully clearing the examination, amounting to 12,548 passers out of 48,203 participants nationwide. This remarkable feat solidifies NCR's reputation for academic excellence and dedication to public service.

CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to all passers, emphasizing the significance of this achievement as a promising start not only for the individuals but also for their families. He expressed optimism about their future contributions to the public sector, highlighting the importance of their commitment to fostering a progressive and resilient civil service.

The CSC Examination, Recruitment, and Placement Office advised successful examinees to coordinate with the respective CSC Regional Offices for the retrieval of their Certificate of Eligibility (COE), emphasizing that while eligibility is a crucial step, other qualifications and requirements must be met for appointment in government service.
