Binibini also stated that she was a philanthropist who gives back to the community.

“Naga-bulig sa mga labing-kubos kag nagakinahanglan. May mga scholars man ako, kag nagabulig sa mga na ospital. Ang akon sweldo dira ko ginahatag sa ila (I am also helping people in need. I also have scholars and I help individuals for their hospitalization, most of my salary goes to them),” Binibini added, sharing that her philosophy in life is to live simply so that others may live also.

TESDA information officer Kenneth Laveroza said that 112 trainees finished

their course in Hilot (Wellness Massage) NC II, 54 for Housekeeping NC II, 63 for Food and Beverages and Services NC II, and 58 for Ships Catering Services NC I.

Laveroza noted that graduates from the provinces of Aklan and Antique added up to the completers from the province.

USWAG Ilonggo Party-list lawmaker James Ang Jr., on the other hand, commended the graduates in Roxas City who received skills development training and allowance from TESDA.

“All smiles kita tanan tungod matapos ang graduation, trabaho kag oportunidad sa pagbag-o ang dala sang ila bag-o nga ihibalo (We are all smiles because after the graduation, the new knowledge may bring you new [skills] jobs and opportunities),” Ang said in a social media post, reiterating that he is proud to be part of the future success of the graduates.

Roxas City Mayor Ronnie Dadivas congratulated the graduates and expressed his gratitude to TESDA and the USWAG Ilonggo Partylist for the collaborative efforts of the scholars.

“Ang ila nabaton nga sertipiko ang makabulig kag makahatag sa ila sing dako nga oportunidad nga makatrabaho kag mapa umwad ang ila pangabuhi (Their certificate will give them opportunity to work and to improve their lives),” Dadivas added.

TESDA aims to enhance the technical and vocational skills of individuals seeking employment in various fields and provides better opportunities for individuals to improve their lives and contribute to the economic growth of the country. (AGP/PLF/PIA Capiz)
