BANGUED, Abra(PIA) -- The Civil Service Commission-Abra Field Office is bringing the application processing for the March 2024 Career Service Eligibility (CSE) examination closer to the students and other interested applicants in the province.
On January 9, CSC Abra personnel conducted the offsite processing of applications at the Social Hall of Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology-Bangued Campus.
CSC-Abra Senior Human Resource Specialist II May Bañez said they partnered with ASIST to facilitate easier and more accessible application for the students.
Bañez said the offsite processing of applications will be brought to the municipality of Bucay on Jan. 11 to cater to applicants from the adjacent towns of Manabo, Peñarrubia, Bucloc and Sallapadan.
The CSC is tentatively set to bring this offsite application processing in Divine Word College of Bangued on January 12, the last day of filing of application.
The CSC Cordillera has extended the filing of application from Jan. 3 to Jan. 12, 2024.
Bañez clarified that the CSE exam is open to individuals who are 18 years old and above.
“We would like to inform the public that the Career Service Elibility can be taken by at least 18 years old dahil ang alam pa ng iba, at least college graduate ka or at least may 72 units earned ka bago ka mag exam,” Bañez said.
On the number of target applicants, Banez said that the target for Abra is 2,000 but since there are more examination rooms now, they can accommodate 2,250 test applicants.
As of Jan. 9, a total of 1,574 Abrenian have filed for their application for the exams - 167 for the subprofessional and 1,407 for the professional level. (JDP/CAGT – PIA CAR, Abra)
