She reiterated her call for a multi-sectoral support by encouraging Local Government Units and National Government Agencies to buy agricultural products through the BRP and spread out in various KADIWA outlets in the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela and Quirino.

“Our sustained support to the agricultural sector will ease the burden of product losses among our farmers and help them earn better income,” Aquino said.

She said a series of coordination meetings will be conducted this week among LGU executives in Cagayan Valley and CAR to draw strong support for the BRP.

Aquino expressed optimism that agreements and arrangements will be further forged to provide solutions and interventions in addressing the problems of farmers in the region. (OTB/BME/PIA Nueva Vizcaya)
