TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, January 22 (PIA) -- Gipagawas ni Presidente Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang administrative order (AO) nga direktang nagmando sa mga ahensya sa gobyerno nga paspasan ang pagpatuman sa Government Energy Management Program (GEMP) aron maseguro ang "efficient and judicious utilization" sa enerhiya.

Ang Administrative Order No. 15 sumala sa Presidential Communications Office (PCO) gi-isyu sa Malacañang niadtong Martes, Enero 16, 2024.

“All agencies and instrumentalities of the national government, including government-owned or -controlled corporations are hereby directed, and all LGUs are hereby encouraged, to undertake efforts to ensure efficient and judicious utilization of energy,” nakalatid sa AO nga gilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin.

“For this purpose, all concerned government agencies shall accelerate the implementation of GEMP and relevant IAEECC Resolutions,” gitumbok ang Inter-Agency Energy and Efficiency Conservation Committee diin ang Department of Energy (DoE) mao ang chairman.

Ang GEMP usa ka programa sa tibuok gobyerno nga nagtumong sa pagpakunhod sa binuwan nga konsumo sa gobyerno sa kuryente ug mga produkto sa petrolyo pinaagi sa episyente nga paggamit ug pagkonserba sa enerhiya ug lana.

Sumala sa AO, ipatuman kini pinaagi sa pagpahigayon og energy audits gikan sa Certified Energy Auditors, ug pakigtambayayong sa random energy spot-checks, pagsumite og imbentaryo sa kasamtangan nga energy consuming equipment, pagsiguro sa pagsunod sa DOE Guidelines on Energy Conserving Design of Buildings, ug sa Philippine Green Building Code for new building construction.

Kabahin sa inisyatibo mao usab ang pagsagop sa barato nga Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EEC) nga mga lakang sa GEMP ug pag-institutionalize sa EEC sa ilang tagsa-tagsa ka opisina.

Samtang sa pakigtambayayong sa PCO, ang DOE kinahanglang maghimo og epektibong paagi sa pagpahibalo sa mga lakang sa EEC ngadto sa tanang buhatan sa gobyerno ug publiko. (ECB/PIA7-Bohol)
