Baroy LGU opens Baybay Sunset Café, A-Houses, Mangrove Park

BAROY, Lanao del Norte (PIA) -- The local government here inaugurated the Baybay Sunset Café, A-Houses, and Mangrove Park situated in Barangay San Juan.

This location offers an ideal setting to enjoy the picturesque sunset over Panguil Bay. The mangroves surrounding the area prove that it is a perfect place to relax and appreciate the beauty of nature.

Additionally, there are cottages, floating cottages, and a café where visitors can savor beverages and pastries amidst the refreshing breeze.

Visitors can also stay in A-houses, with mangrove trees lining the path leading to these accommodations. A-houses provide comfortable lodging options with amenities tailored to guests' needs.

Mayor Grelina Mantohac-Lim invites the people to visit the area, which was once a seaside locale but is now transformed into a picturesque baywalk.

“Akong iinvite ang mga katawhan sa lain-laing munispyo nga naa ko  gi-rehab sa Barangay San Juan location, sauna seaside na siya. Mao ni siya ang baywalk, karon akong gi-rehab. Hopefully, malipay mo nga nindot kaayo suruyan [I invite people from different municipalities to visit the rehabilitated area in Barangay San Juan, formerly a seaside area. This was the baywalk, which I have rehabilitated. Hopefully, you will be pleased with how beautiful it has become],” she said.

The mayor also shared her vision for implementing additional income-generating facilities in the town. In line with this vision, ongoing developments include the construction of a new market, a sports complex, a village showcasing the pottery industry, a bus terminal, and a town center.
