TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, January 26 (PIA) -- Ang mga representante sa Bureau of Soils and Water Management (BSWM) ug Provincial Agriculture Technology Coordinating Office sa Department of Agriculture (DA-PATCO) nipahigayon og tigom aron pangandaman ang Pre-Cloud Seeding Assessment/Meeting uban sa National Irrigation Administration (NIA) 7 niadtong Enero 23, 2024.

Gitugotan atol sa tigum ang team sa pagrepaso sa mga kalihokan sa pagpangandam alang sa aktibong pagtubag sa posibleng negatibong epekto sa El Niño, nga kasagaran naglakip sa taas nga temperatura ug pagkunhod sa ulan.

Gipangunahan ni Cecile A. Opada sa DA-PATCO, ang team nakiglambigit sa mga diskusyon ug nakigkoordinar sa mga paningkamot uban ni NIA Engineering and Operations Division Manager Engr. Orencio M. Apale ug ni NIA Acting Operations Section Chief, Engr.  Ma. Donessa Autida.

“The team engaged in preparatory activities aimed at addressing the potential challenges posed by El Niño and to conduct a joint area assessment for pre-cloud seeding operations in the province of Bohol. (Ang team nakigbahin sa mga kalihokan sa pagpangandam nga gitumong sa pagsulbad sa mga potensyal nga mga hagit nga gipahinabo sa El Niño ug sa pagpahigayon sa usa ka joint area assessment alang sa pre-cloud seeding operations sa lalawigan sa Bohol)," matud pa ni Autida.

“We will continue to give our support and full coordination with the team to ensure that we take timely action in light of the anticipated challenges brought about by El Niño. (Magpadayon kami sa paghatag sa among suporta ug bug-os nga koordinasyon sa team aron masiguro nga makahimo kami sa tukma sa panahon nga aksyon subay sa gipaabut nga mga hagit nga dala sa El Niño)," dugang pa ni Autida.

Human sa tigom, ang grupo nagpahigayon ug masusing inspeksyon sa lugar sa Malinao Irrigation System nga nagtugot kanila sa pagsuta sa kasamtangang kahimtang sa mga sistema sa irigasyon ug sa mga lugar nga panguma. (ECB/PIA7-Bohol)
