Potable water system project benefits Delfin Albano residents

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) -- The P5 million potable water system project in the town of Delfin Albano this province was recently inaugurated benefitting almost a thousand of residents.

The project, which was established in  Barangay Capitol, Delfin Albano, Isabela, was funded under the 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance-Incentive Fund (SGLG-IF).

Delfin Albano Mayor Edward Co said the project will supply safe drinking water to 220 households in the said barangay.

Co said the LGU Delfin Albano officials decided to construct the potable water system project seeing its necessity to the residents.

“I express my deep gratitude to the DILG officials for helping and guiding us in building the project as this will serve as an initial step in the fulfillment of the town’s priority project of establishing Potable Water System in every barangay in our municipality,” Co said.

Meanwhile, Department of the Interior and Local Government Regional Director Agnes A. De Leon, who led the the inauguration, said that water is essential to life and the project will lessen their burden in their day to day life.

De Leon urged the local officials and residents present to value the presence of the project because not all local government units are given the chance to acquire and construct such project for their constituents. (MGE / PIA Isabela)
