IPIL, Zamboanga Sibugay (PIA) - The province of Zamboanga Sibugay is abuzz with excitement as preparations are finalized for the much-awaited 23rd Araw ng Zamboanga Sibugay celebration. From February 16 to 26, the province will be transformed into a hub of festivities, offering eleven days of exhilarating events and cultural extravaganzas.

Kicking -off the festivities is the dynamic Sibug-Sibug Festival Open Street Dancing Competition, a spectacle of rhythm and movement that showcases the province's vibrant culture. Attendees will also have the chance to savor the renowned Longest Talaba Grill, a culinary delight that promises to tantalize taste buds.

Adding to the pageantry are the highly anticipated Binibining Sibugay 2024 and Queen of Sibugay beauty pageants, where elegance and grace take center stage. Meanwhile, sports enthusiasts can look forward to a plethora of tournaments, including basketball, volleyball, badminton, and more, catering to athletes of all ages and skill levels.

For those seeking a test of endurance, the 50- kilometer Ultra Marathon and 10- kilometer Fun Run offer a thrilling challenge amidst breathtaking scenery. 

Meanwhile, talent competitions such as The Voice Sibugay and the Inter-High School Tik Tok Dance Contest promise to showcase the province's rich pool of talents.

Cultural aficionados will not be disappointed, with showcases like the Pusaka Fashion Show and the Inter-High School Folk Dance Contest celebrating the province's heritage and traditions. Essential services such as the Legal Clinic, Medical and Dental Outreach, and Animal Clinic will also be available to attendees, ensuring the well-being of residents and visitors alike.

As the grand finale approaches, anticipation builds for the live performance of renowned band Ben&Ben, a special gift from Governor Ann K. Hofer to the people of Sibugay.
