CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) -- Recognizing the need of health care augmentation in the municipality of Bulalacao, the Department of Health (DOH) together with Local Government Unit (LGU) Bulalacao built and opened the new Bulalacao Municipal Health Office.

The facility is set to augment and strengthen medical care in the area offering residents enhanced access to basic health services.

The structure has an area of 120 square meters and costs 10 million pesos. The initiative from DOH and LGU underscores the government’s commitment in improving healthcare infrastructure and ensuring that residents are able to receive proper medical attention especially in times of need.

The new health office offers a range of basic health services from routine check-ups to specialized treatments.

Its strategic location along diversion road makes it easily accessible for residents across Bulalacao, ensuring that more people can benefit from its services without the need to travel long distances.

Among the barangays that can avail the facility’s services are those residents from Barangays Cambunang, Campaasan, Poblacion, Maujao, San Francisco, and Milagrosa. (JJGS/PIA MIMAROPA - Oriental Mindoro)
