Freebies and special treats await women, girls, teens this Women’s Month

QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- In celebration of National Women’s Month this March, women, girls, and teens are in for surprises and treats.

Walk down memory lane for free at the Fort Santiago, Baluarte de San Diego, and Casa Manila Museum on March 8, 2024.

The National Museum of the Philippines (Fine Arts, Anthropology, and Natural History) will provide special lane on March 13 (girls and teens aged 7-19), on March 20 (senior citizens), and on March 27 (mothers, solo parents, and women aged 20-59).

Likewise, the Philippine Coast Guard will provide free bus ride for all commuters from PITX to Cubao, and vice versa on March 6, 13, and 20.

Free processing fees for hazard assessment reports await all women stakeholders as the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) from March 1 to 31, 2024 at the PHIVOLCS Bldg., C.P. Garcia Avenue, U.P. Campus, Diliman, Quezon City.

Pag-IBIG Fund extends its love this Women’s Month.

The state mutual fund will give limited freebies in all its offices and branches nationwide:

  • 100 female clients per branch
  • 100 female clients per Housing Business Center
  • 30 female clients per Member Services Office (MSO)
  • 730 female clients for Corporate Headquarters, NCR Housing, and International Relations Group

Meanwhile, the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) invites everyone to join #PurpleFridays. Every Friday, wear something purple to stand alongside women and advocate for their rights.
