MM police honors Women’s Excellence this Women’s Month

TAGUIG CITY, (PIA) -- To kick off the celebration of National Women’s Month this March, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) honored exceptional women in the regional office.

Malacañang Press Briefer and distinguished advocate in protecting children’s rights and promoting maternal and child health, Ms. Daphne Oseña-Paez graced the celebration held at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City.

The event was highlighted by the acknowledgment of the exemplary women for their courage, innovation, and unwavering commitment to duty. These individuals have significantly contributed to the achievements and milestones that have propelled the NCRPO to greater heights.

In her speech, Ms. Oseña-Paez congratulated the awardees for their crucial contributions and sacrifices, to the organization toward national growth and development. She underscored that in “Bagong Pilipinas,” women are given equitable opportunities not hindered by gender bias and discriminatory stereotypes.

“… Let us not forget that in everyday work and sacrifice that you do for our communities to keep us safe, fight the bad guys, save the environment and build our nation towards Bagong Pilipinas. You, the women of the PNP, are also just women who need care attention, good health, a break, fun, family time, self-care time, a time to be loved and a time to be celebrated, like today.”  

In recognition of her distinct performance in the creation of policies assessment and classification system by the Bureau of Jail and Management Penology and Bureau of Correction, the Medalya Ng Natatanging Gawa was awarded to:

For accomplishment on the intensified manhunt operation and implementation of a Search Warrant that resulted in the arrest of various individuals and the recovery of a large number of illegal drugs, the Medalya ng Kagalingan was awarded to the following personnel:

PLtCol Leonie Ann Apaling Dela Cruz, QCPD

PCpl Anna Marie Bernardo Duran, EPD

Pat Jay-Sa Pagulayan Sebastian, SPD

In recognition of her invaluable service rendered as Chief of the Public Information Office, NCRPO who competently carried out programs to support, build bridges, and establish partnerships in the community, through tri-media, the Medalya ng Kasanayan was awarded to:

PLtCol Eunice Salvador Salas, RPIO

For her utmost dedication to duty rendered as Administrative Officer of the Office of the Regional Director who diligently performed her assigned task that immeasurably contributed to ensuring all appointments and schedules of the RD, NCRPO are in place, the Medalya ng Kasanayan was awarded to:

PMaj Aleli Cuyan Buaquen, ORD

In acknowledgment of their exemplary commitment to fulfilling their duties and responsibilities, the Medalya ng Kasanayan was also bestowed upon:
