PRO-Cor recognizes 10 female officers for their accomplishments

LA TRINIDAD,Benguet(PIA)-- The Police Regional Office Cordillera(PRO Cor) honored 10 its female officers for their  remarkable contributions in the field of public service, during the 2024 Women’s Month kickoff ceremony at the Camp Major Bado Dangwa in La Trinidad, Benguet on March 4.
 
DOST-CAR Regional Director Nancy Bantog, the guest of honor, together with PRO Cordillera Regional Director PBGen. David Peredo Jr., led the awarding of medals to the inspiring lady personnel from the different police units and offices for their contributions and accomplishments.
 
The Medalya ng Kagalingan, or the PNP Medal of Merit was awarded to PCpt. Rebecca Bilog of the Abra Police Provincial Office (PPO) for the successful service of a warrant of arrest to the No. 8 most wanted person in the provincial level of Abra for the 1st Quarter of CY 2024.
 
Recipient  of the Medalya ng Kasanayan, or the PNP Efficiency Medal  are  PLtCol. Geraldine Aydoc of Baguio City Police Office for serving as the head secretariat of the Awards Technical Working Group which crafted the PRO COR IMPLAN 35-2023, entitled “Comprehensive Guidelines and Parameters on the Conferment of Awards to PRO Cordillera Personnel.”
 
Also awardees of the Medalya ng Kasanayan  are  PSSg Jasmin Apple Salve of the Benguet PPO for the successful promulgation of judgment of six cases involving violence committed against women and children from 2020 up to the present, and Non-Uniformed Personnel Susan Molitas of the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division for her service as facilitator of the Police and His Family seminar conducted as part of the R.O.A.D to Discipline Program.
 
The Medalya ng Ugnayang Pampulisya, or the PNP Relations Medal in recognition for the exemplary service and remarkable accomplishments in extending help and assistance to those in need in their area of responsibility are:  PCMS Jenny Lyn Bengwasan of the Benguet PPO, PCMS Marjorie Rivera of Mountain Province PPO, PMSg Yanie Mae Lachaona of Ifugao PPO, PMSg Rhescien Mae Vicente of Baguio CPO, PSSg Harlene Ballay of Baguio CPO; PCpl Rheem Galut of Apayao PPO and Pat Lilybeth B Abeya of Ifugao PPO.
 
Bantog commended the PRO Cor leadership for recognizing the lady officers for their achievements and contributions as they continue to serve and protect the public.
 
"I would like to salute PRO Cordillera for recognizing the women in your agency. This initiative makes every heart of a woman glow.
