Marinduque PNP lady personnel gain recognition on Women's Month

BOAC, Marinduque (PIA) -- To kick off the celebration of National Women's Month, the Marinduque Police Provincial Office (MPPO) recognized deserving female personnel at Camp Colonel Maximo Abad.

In line with this year's theme, "Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, Patunayan", the MPPO under the leadership of Police Colonel Arthur A. Salida, conducted a program giving recognition to the exceptional women in the provincial office.

"Bigyang-pugay natin ang mga kababaihang bumubuo sa ating lipunan na nagpakita ng kanilang hindi matatawarang pagsusumikap at dedikasyon para sa pamilya, trabaho at para sa bayan," said Salida.

[Let us recognize and pay tribute to all the women who make up our society as they have shown their unforgivable hard work and dedication to their family, work and the community.]

Apart from the recognition, the female personnel also received a certificate of appreciation which was given to them by the MPPO key officials and Mayor Marissa Red-Martinez of the municipality of Santa Cruz who also served as the speaker and guest of honor in the said event.

In the Philippines, the National Women’s Month Celebration has become a platform to spotlight women’s accomplishments and commemorates women’s contribution in achieving national independence, civil liberties, human rights and equality. (RAMJR/NAPM/PIA Mimaropa - Marinduque)
