DPWH-3DEO District Engineer Adonis Asis said the said building was constructed and funded under the General Appropriations Act of 2023 in barangay Salinungan West, San Mateo, Isabela, to be used for various activities of the barangay.
Asis said the building has 10 rooms, comfort rooms, and a kitchen, which is now used as a barangay hall for rendering services to the residents.
He said the building is also used as a public space for the conduct of various activities like health and social welfare programs and several other activities of the barangay.
Meanwhile, Salinungan West Barangay Captain Genaro Reyno expressed his thanks to the DPWH-3DEO for the construction and completion of the building, which he said is very essential in delivering the services of the barangay to its constituents. (MGE/PIA Isabela)
